What about my visa?
American, Canadian, Australian and European Union citizens do NOT need visas to enter the Czech Republic. American, Canadian and Australian citizens need a valid passport. The Caledonian School has a full-time visa assistant to help you through the process of applying for a work permit and visa (residency permit). Our visa assistant, Vera Antsiouova, will contact you with more information about 2 weeks prior to the start of the TEFL course.
What about my arrival in Prague
To avoid time pressure and confusion, please try to arrange your arrival for at least 3 days prior to the course. If you have arranged your housing through the school, you will be met at the airport and brought to your flat. Please note that we require your exact arrival details no later than two weeks prior to your arrival; otherwise airport pickup cannot be guaranteed. Please also note that the Friday before the start of the course we have a welcome meeting. Trainees receive important course materials at this meeting, so do make every effort to attend.
