Checking the Quality of Lessons

Caledonian School guarantees high quality language learning

  

All the procedures of our system (testing, student feedback, teacher observations) were developed according to ISO standards.

     

The quality of services provided by the Caledonian School is checked by:

  • Regular Feedback forms sent to students.
  • Regular communication between our Course Manager and students, as well as your company’s contact person.
  • Regular observations of teachers.

 

Regular Feedbacks:

  • Questionnaires are sent to students at the end of each semester.
  • They ask about the student’s satisfaction with the teacher and the lessons.
  • The results are processed into a chart which is sent to the company’s contact person.
  • In the event that we find out that students are not satisfied with any aspect of the lessons, we immediately work on improving it.
  • Once a year we also ask contact persons how satisfied they are with their communication with the Caledonian School.

 

Course Manager:

  • Is available for students during the entire course.
  • Students can contact their CM with any questions or comments – they do not have to wait for a questionnaire.
  • In the event that students are not satisfied with their teacher, style of lessons, focus of the course or some other aspect, the Course Manager will immediately work on improving the situation in cooperation with the Academic office.

 

Regular observations of teachers:

  • Each teacher is observed twice a year by a member of the Academic office.
  • The main goal of observations is to help teachers further develop their teaching skills.
  • A member of the Academic office holds a feedback session with the teacher where they analyze the teacher’s performance. The Academic office member will advise the teacher on what to improve and which areas should the teacher work on.
