The workshops will be highly practical, informative, involve a lot of active/hands on participation by the trainees and, we hope, FUN! Further, you will be going into Caledonian School classrooms and observing experienced teachers. In addition, you will be teaching groups of learners at two different levels. You will have at least 8-10 hours of teaching practice. The course will also involve written assignments and written lesson plans and readings from methodology and grammar books.

What levels are the students I will be teaching on the course?

Trainees teach lower and higher level groups of students. TEFL course books describe these levels as pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate. Teaching practice, along with lesson planning and feedback from trainers and peers, is an important part of the TEFL course.
