Caledonian School

E-learning Method

  • Every new student is assigned a user name and password and he/she is assigned courses chosen by his/her tutor. The courses correspond with student‘s language level and new grammar points or vocabulary studied in the regular course.
  • Tutors can check students’ home studying every time they are on-line. They see their students’ progress (which exercises they have already done and with what result). In accordance with students’ progress, tutors can either prepare their own exercises or use exercises available on-line to give students an opportunity to practice further particular grammar points which they previously had problems with. Tutors can assigned students new courses or modify the existing ones.
  • Tutors also refer students to the Grammar Support Centre and the Pronunciation Centre – parts of Vektor On-line School that are available to all students regardless of assigned courses.
