Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera
The exam can be taken at three levels that correspond to the following levels according to the Common European Framework:
- Diploma de Español B1 - Nivel Inicial
This international exam proves that you speak the language at such a level that you are able to understand and react appropriately in common situations in everyday life. You can also speak about your wishes and needs in basic forms.
This exam has three parts: 1. reading comprehension (40 minutes), writing (50 minutes), 2. grammar (40 minutes), 3. listening comprehension (30 minutes), speaking (10 minutes).
- Diploma de Español B2 - Nivel Intermedio
This international exam proves that you speak the language at such a level that you are able to cope in common situations of everyday life under circumstances that do not require specific language knowledge.
This exam has three parts: 1. reading comprehension (60 minutes), writing (60 minutes), 2. grammar (60 minutes), 3. listening comprehension (30 minutes), speaking (10-15 minutes).
- Diploma de Español C2 - Nivel Superior
This international exam proves that you speak the language at such level that you are able to cope with situations that require a deeper understanding of the language and culture.
This exam has three parts: 1. reading comprehension (60 minutes), writing (60 minutes), 2. grammar (60 minutes), 3. listening comprehension (45 minutes), speaking (10-15 minutes).
