Library
Caledonian School offers all the materials needed for language learning in its own library and bookshop.
Course books, dictionaries, videos, CDs, audio tapes and other supplementary materials are supplied by foreign publishers (Oxford, Longman, Cambridge, Hueber, Klett, Clé International, Heinemann, etc.) and are sold at advantageous prices. There are many sales and special offers for our students and teachers throughout the year.
There are more than 12,000 entries in our library. As well as books, we offer audio materials and 8 different Czech and foreign periodicals (Newsweek, Economist, Business Spotlight, etc).
Registration in our library is free for students enrolled in Caledonian School courses. Registered students can borrow extra study materials to prepare for international exams (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC), as well as fiction books and graded readers. However, core course books used in the Caledonian School courses cannot not to be borrowed and taken home. They can only be studied in the library.
