Out of Prague

Teaching for Caledonian School in Mladá Boleslav or Nový Jičín

We often have positions available in locations outside of Prague in the towns of Mladá Boleslav and Nový Jičín (positions are suitable for EU passport holders only).

Here are some advantages we can offer:

Free accommodation
Transportation there provided
The cost of living is a bit cheaper there compared to Prague
Teachers will be reimbursed for one return journey to Prague every month
Better chance to experience the Czech lifestyle in a smaller town

Mladá Boleslav is a small town located about 70 km northeast of Prague. It can be easily accessed by frequent buses and trains.
The town is well-known thanks to the Skoda factory – a car manufacturer. Skoda is our biggest client in Mladá Boleslav. Classes take place in both the factory and in our own school there.

We have about 25 teachers (Czechs, English native speakers and Germans) in Mlada Boleslav. There is a small school with a resource center, a photocopier and two computers with Internet access.

The classes are of various levels (elementary to proficiency) and of various sizes (one-to-one or small groups – 10 students max). We teach both general and business English classes. Some classes focus on technical English as well.

The great advantage of teaching out-of-Prague is free accommodation provided by the school. You are asked to share a flat (two or three bedrooms) but you are always guaranteed your own room.
