Workshops and Teachers’ Development at Caledonian School
We believe that it is important for teachers be involved in on-going professional development in order to react to the quickly changing field of language education.
Our development programme includes:
- A minimum of 4 workshops and seminars per month
- A well-equipped library with a wide range of modern teaching materials, specialized publications, and multimedia access
- Internet access
- Senior Teachers act as mentors to new teachers
- Academic support available through academic managers and senior teachers
- Regular observations and feedback sessions

- Teaching reading skills
- Teaching 1-2-1
- Grammar practice activities
- Assessing Writing for FCE and CAE
- Using Video in the classroom
- Lesson planning
- And many more in the English, German, Czech, Spanish and French department.
